These terms and conditions apply to all services and agreements between Devla and the client.
2Quotes and agreements
Quotes are not binding unless otherwise stated. An agreement is formed after written confirmation by both parties. When you submit the quote form on our website, we use your data to contact you, understand your assignment, prepare a quote for you and, if an agreement is concluded between you and Devla, for invoicing and correspondence about its performance. We do not use this data for any other purposes.
3Delivery, hosting and payment
After your approval we deliver the project and go live. For websites we offer a fixed package: a one-time payment for your custom-built website, combined with a monthly subscription for ongoing maintenance. This is a package deal: we do not offer a standalone custom website without the accompanying maintenance subscription. One-time and subscription payments are processed through Stripe. The one-time payment (custom website) includes: a fully unique website with no templates; development through to delivery; guidance around go-live. The monthly subscription (website maintenance) includes: hosting with backups; technical updates on request; help with text and image changes. Until delivery we work with you in consultation, providing unlimited redesign and edits. Therefore Devla does not refund amounts already invoiced or paid, unless otherwise agreed in writing. You may cancel your monthly subscription by emailing us at info@devla.nl with your cancellation request. Anything else regarding payments and invoicing follows the quote and agreement.
4Ownership and transfer
During your subscription we host and manage your website or business system. You own the project. You may request a copy of the full source code (and for business systems the database) by contacting us; we provide it after discussion and according to the agreement. While we host and manage, the monthly subscription usually applies. If you end the subscription under which we host and manage, the website may go offline and we provide no further support unless otherwise agreed. Devla retains the right to use portfolio references unless otherwise agreed.
5Technical infrastructure
We build websites and business systems in TypeScript and React using Next.js as the framework. We use GitHub for backup and development of projects. Hosting is provided via Vercel. We use Supabase as our database: including for business systems and to store data related to quotes and invoices. Data you enter for invoices and quotes in that system (such as client details, line items and amounts) is stored in the database in encrypted form; only our server application decrypts it when needed for administration and display. By using our services you agree to the use of these third parties. The terms of GitHub, Vercel and Supabase respectively apply to these services.
6AI integration
When you choose AI integration in your project, we use AI models from Replicate. By having AI integration implemented, you agree to Replicate's terms of service and the terms of the chosen AI model(s). You are responsible for reviewing and accepting these terms.
