Privacy
Devla values your privacy. We build, host and manage websites and business systems. This page describes how we handle your data.
2What data we process
Through the quote form on our contact page we collect, among other things: name, email address, optional phone number, company name, address (street and number, postal code, city, country), a description of the website you want built, and anything else you enter in the form. You can also provide this information to us by email. For websites and business systems we host and manage, we only process data necessary for management and support.
3Purpose of processing
We use the data from the quote form and other contact or client details you provide to reach you, assess your request, prepare a no-obligation quote and, after an agreement is in place, to communicate with you as a client about the project and to issue invoices and handle related administration. We do not use this data for marketing, newsletters or other purposes. For ongoing projects we use your data to host and manage your website or business system. For payments (one-time and subscription) we use Stripe; Stripe processes the payment data required to complete the transaction.
4Retention period
We do not retain your data longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was provided, unless the law requires a longer retention period.
5Security (invoices and quotes)
Information we enter and retain to prepare and manage your invoices and quotes (such as client name and address, invoice number, amounts, descriptions and line items) is stored in our database in encrypted form. Only our own server application holds the keys to decrypt that data temporarily for display and editing in the dashboard, so the raw database contents are not readily readable by unauthorised parties. This is in addition to processing through the contact form, email and Stripe as described elsewhere on this page.
6Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data. To cancel a monthly subscription or for other questions about your data, contact us at info@devla.nl.
7Third parties
We use GitHub for backup and version control of source code, Vercel for hosting and Supabase for databases, including business system data and data we need for quotes and invoices (storage and management). For AI integration we use Replicate for AI models. For payments (one-time charges and monthly subscriptions) we use Stripe; payment-related data may be processed by Stripe under their privacy policy. Your data may be processed by these services. The privacy policies of GitHub, Vercel, Supabase, Replicate and Stripe respectively apply to these services. For AI integration, the terms of the chosen AI model(s) also apply.
8Source code for your project
For questions about a copy of the source code or an export of your website or business system built by us, you can contact us at info@devla.nl. We handle requests in discussion and according to the agreement.
9Complaints
If you have a complaint about the processing of your data, you can file a complaint with the relevant data protection authority.
